A members-only savings and lending company under the Nidhi Rules.
A Nidhi Company is an NBFC formed to encourage saving among members. It may borrow from and lend to members only. It cannot run chit funds, leasing, or insurance.
It is incorporated as a Public Limited Company with at least 7 members, 3 directors, and ₹5 lakh paid-up capital. It must reach 200 members within a year.
